Using the form below, you can verify the current departure and arrival status of nearly any commercial airline, by flight number or airport around the world. Data is provided by FlightStats, a division of Conducive Technology Corp. Your use of the data is at your own risk. How to use the flight tracker if you know the flight number:

  • Type a carrier's name in the "Airline" text field (example: "Air France"), or the carrier's two-letter abbreviation if you know it (example: "AF"). As you begin to type, a list of possible airlines will be displayed beneath the text field. You may either select one of the suggested airlines, or keep typing your entry until complete.
  • Enter the flight number in the "Flight" text field (example: "337").
  • Select the flight's departure date from the drop-down menu. (Your choices are yesterday, today, or tomorrow – indicated by the actual dates.)
  • Click on the blue "Go" button (with white forward arrow).
  • This live flight tracker will instantly inform you of the status of the journey, including real-time flight maps¹, equipment (plane type), and useful historical data of how often that flight is on time or delayed.

  • Type an airport's name or city in the "Arrival Airport" text field (example: "Paris"), or the airport's three-letter airport code if you know it (example: "CDG" or "ORY"). As you begin to type, a list of possible airports will be displayed beneath the text field. You may either select one of the suggested airports (recommended), or keep typing your entry until complete.
  • Select the flight's departure date from the drop-down menu. (Your choices are yesterday, today, or tomorrow – indicated by the actual dates.)
  • Click on the blue "Go" button (with white forward arrow).
  • You will be presented with a list of all flights matching the route you provided. In the left column, click on the flight number (underlined) for the appropriate airline and departure time.
  • This live flight tracker will instantly inform you of the status of the journey, including real-time flight maps¹, equipment (plane type), and useful historical data of how often that flight is on time or delayed.

¹ Positional information is not generally available when flights are over an ocean.

Flight Status Descriptions
Scheduled: Flight is not airborne. Departure and arrival times are according to airline's schedule.
Delayed: Flight will depart more than 30 minutes after its scheduled departure time.
Departed: Flight has left the departure gate but may not be airborne yet.
In Air: Flight is airborne. Takeoff time is actual takeoff or "wheels up" time. The arrival time is estimated. Real-time map is available.
Diverted: Flight has been diverted from its scheduled destination to a different location.
Recovery: Flight had departed the diverted location and enroute or landed at the scheduled destination.
Landed: Flight has landed. The landing time is actual touchdown or "wheels down."
Arrived: Flight has arrived at its destination gate.
Cancelled: Flight has been cancelled.
No Takeoff Info - Call Airline: The real-time status of the flight is unavailable. It may have been delayed, cancelled, or the real-time status may not yet be available if the flight is international. Contact airline for more information.
